Job Description

Attention Geneva Truck Drivers! Regional CDL A Tank Truck Company Solo Drivers needed to haul herbicide hazmat products at up to $0.68 a practical mile, loaded and empty + supplemental pay.

Job Details:

Median $1,600 weekly pay
Driver Referral Program
Safety Incentive Program.
Operating within a 1,000 mile radius of our your home
Single Hull Stainless Steel Tanker trailer (Chemical and Herbicide Only)
Multiple Compartment Aluminum Tanker Trailer (Petroleum Only)
Transportation Workers Identification (TWIC) preferred (Chemical Only)
Hazmat and Tanker Endorsement Required (If you don’t have it, we can provide resources for you to obtain it!)

Home Time:

On the road 6 days followed by 1.5 days home time (34-hour reset)
Every 7 days an additional 1.5 days home time (34-hour reset)

Job Duties

‍Core Responsibilities (include, but are not limited to):

Being available for work at all times in order to meet customer pickup and delivery schedules.
Submitting customer paperwork and deposits including invoices, load orders, and handheld reports.
Maintaining a clean, sanitary, and safe work area.
Inspection of vehicle, equipment, and cargo to ensure everything is safe, legal, and secure.
Maintaining a driver's log in accordance with DOT regulations

Knowledge and Skills

Hiring Requirements:

Valid Class A CDL with Tanker and HazMat endorsements.
Class A CDL without the following restrictions: Manual (E), Air brakes (L, Z), Night driving (G), No semi-trailer (O), Intrastate only (K), or Medical variance (M).
Clean motor vehicle license.
23 years old or older.
2 years of recent driving preferred. 12 months minimum of recent driving experience. 12 months of tractor trailer experience in the last 5 years. Experience must be with a 36 ft. trailer minimum.
TWIC must be obtained by OTR drivers.
Must have a valid DOT medical card.
Pass a urine drug test.
English proficiency required.
Eligible to work in the United States.
